The Warriors have struggled this season despite acquiring Buddy Hield and Dennis Schroder. The team might have to trade for an All-Star to make a real run for Stephen Curry and Draymond Green’s 5th Championship. However, realistically, the Warriors might not want to move on from their young core of Kuminga, Moody, and Podziemski. The Warriors will definitely look to stregethen their starting lineup instead of keep building their bench because of their already deep roster with young talents and picks that could be available to trade
The Warriors are certainly the front runner in trading for Butler because of the young talents and deep bench that are available to trade. However, if the asking price is too high, the Warriors could go to the nets for Claxton. Claxton finished top 3 in DPOY voting just 2 seasons ago and is available to be traded for. Claxton will be a huge upgrade for the Warriors to add to their interior presence
