What this means for each team

The top 7 Seeds will be very competitive and the top 7 seeds will be most likely secured by these teams. While the 7th seeded Warriors will have to compete in the Play In, the spot in the Playoffs is still secured as it is only a decision of 7th or 8th seed
The Lakers barely misses the 7th seed but finishes as the 8th seed, which will largely raise their chance of securing the 8th spot
While the Suns are high on many lists, they lack depth and defense, which will cost them in this upcoming season’s Wild West, as they might not even finish higher than the 10th seeded Pelicans who could overtake them as the 9th seed
The Clippers are just short of the Play In due to the loss of Paul George. However, if Kawhi and Harden plays at an elite level next season, they have a chance of upsetting another team to join the Play In
The Spurs are included as ‘Barely Misses Play In’ because their record is very close with the Rockets and might have a chance of overtaking the Rockets and Clippers if Wembanyama takes a huge leap and CP3 plays at an elite level to support Wemby without much decline. Either way, they will still come just short of a Play In spot, unless there are any unexpected injuries from other teams or some unexpected big leaps from the Spurs
