Warriors

Grade: B
The Warriors has easily been among the most talked-about teams this offseason. Losing Klay Thompson will hurt, because of his shooting ability and especially his friendship with Curry and Green. However, the Warriors didn’t disappoint as much as the other teams in Free Agency
With the additions of Buddy Hield, De’Anthony Melton, and Kyle Anderson, the Warriors might not finish worse than last season with Klay Thompson and Chris Paul. While they’ve made impactful moves during Free Agnecy, the Western Conference will be even more competitive next season, so after not being able to add Lauri Markkanen, the Warriors will have to make more moves to secure a playoff spot
Clippers

Grade: C+
Losing Paul George will hurt, but apparently the Clippers aren’t giving up yet, and they can’t. It’s obvious that giving up loads of picks for George wasn’t worth it, and the Leonard-George experiment failed miserably. To avoid the second apron, the Clippers couldn’t successfully top the 76ers’ offer
However, they can’t give up because of the picks they’ve given up and the new arena they’re moving into. While the Clippers loss the most this offseason, their addition includes Kevin Porter Jr., Nicolas Batum, Derick Jones Jr., Kris Dunn from a sign-and-trade for Russell Westbrook, Mo Bamba, and successfully resigning James Harden. It might be too early to predict whether they will make the playoffs, as Leonard’s health will be the only question
Lakers

Grade: C-
The Lakers ended their season with a disappointing first round exit and hopes for an addition to catch up with the Boston Celtics for Banner 18. So far, the Lakers successfully resigned LeBron and Max Christie and drafted Bronny James and Dalton Knecht
Despite their success in resigning LeBron, James didn’t take the pay-cut that fans were expecting, and the Lakers did not make any noticeable signings during Free Agency, so their Free Agency is disappointing overall. If the Lakers plan to contend, they will have to make multiple noticeable moves soon
Kings

Grade: A-
The Kings are among the most noticeable teams during the offseason, with their big addition of a sign-and-trade for DeMar DeRozan. The Kings didn’t pay much for DeRozan, and will form a trio of 3 All-Star caliber players. The addition of DeMar DeRozan will help them reach further in the competitive Western Conference Playoffs with his experience and will improve their already historical offense
However, they aren’t graded at A or A+ because of their obvious problem: their lack of defense. While they didn’t finish as one of the worst defenses in the league, they’ve shown their lack of defense and DeRozan is also known for his lack of defense, which means they’ll have to add impactful defenders to their roster
