The Lakers are currently around .500 in the standings, and the Kings are a number of wins behind the top few teams in the league. However, both team could be the biggest buyers in the league right now, as both teams, full of young and talented assets, are looking to trade for their last piece to contend.
What the Lakers need
- Perimeter Defense
- 3-point Shooting
- Experienced Play-making Ball Handler
Currently one of the most mediocre teams on defense and offense, the Lakers may want an improvement especially on the perimeter defense to support their team. On the other hand, as one of the worst three-point shooting teams, the Lakers could look to improve their three-point shooting ability and three-pointers made in order to improve their offense.
