As one of the most efficient offense in NBA history, the Kings had a historical season last year with their young up-coming stars. However, there are still things the Kings need in order to secure themselves as a contender

What the Kings Need
Despite a historical offensive system, the Kings lack the other end of the court, Defense. Also, as the Kings are trying to make a run to contend with their young core and a few other young talents, the Kings certainly could look to acquire some rotation Veterans.
Trade 1

Raptors Get: Davion Mitchell, 2024 second-round pick and a 2024 second-round pick (via DAL)
Kings Get: Precious Achiuwa
With this trade, the Sacramento Kings add a stretch big that fits right in the system. The Kings can add depth to their roster and add a lot of defense, which they lack the most.
Trade 2

Jazz Get: Trey Lyles, multiple 2nd round picks
Kings Get: Kelly Olynyk
After trading away Richaun Holmes, the Kings could look forward to acquire a backup tbig who can fit in easily. Kelly Olynyk would be valuable next season and it’s clear that Danny Ainge could trade him if a team offers picks. This trade would be very much possible and beneficial on the offensive side and bench depth for the kings. Even though they need defense, the acquisition of Nerlens noel could help their interior defense a lot, so they could look in other direction when it comes to interior depth.
Dream Trade: O.G. Anunoby/Paul George

With the Raptors selling and the Clippers unsure of their future directions, the Kings could look to add a star on their wing position to improve their defense, experience, and two way versatility. The above two stars could fit really well in and would be a problem on both ends for the opposing teams.
